After being in Croatia, Sweden, Germany and Türkiye, the Spanish students were very excited to be in the position of the hosts at Col·legi Oms i de Prat in Manresa, Spain, this time 🇪🇸.
The European guests were from Germany 🇩🇪, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Sweden 🇸🇪, Croatia 🇭🇷 and Türkiye 🇹🇷! The Spanish team made the international guests feeling comfortable and having a great time. All students intensified their friendships, improved their English language skills and cultural skills. Our project’s main goal was Inspiration this time, so we had some presentations about healthy snacks.

On Monday, we met each other for the first time at the school Col·legi Oms i de Prat. We did a short meet and greet game. It helped us to get to know each other better. After that, the Spanish students gave us a tour of the school. A lot of students were impressed by how big the school is. By using a computer programme, we later made a personal 3D keychain. So, a lot of us were impressed by how the 3D machine works. After that, we went to Marc Alloy who is the mayor of Manresa. He gave us a warm welcome speech. Next, we had a tour of Manresa. All international students were stunned by the beauty of the city. The houses are all very different. The weather is so warm there. It was a great and succsesfull day.

At 8:00 am, we met at the bus station and drove to Barcelona by bus! The impression was great. There were many places to see. First, we went to the famous sight La Sargrada Família. It is a big cathedral! The architect was Gaudi, a very important man in this area. Secondly, we went to the Passeig de Gracía a Catedral. It is a holy place! We also walked along the famous shopping street and saw a lot of famous shops like Gucci, Channel and Louis Vuitton. The last place we went was Maremàgnum Harbour. It’s great for shopping and eating. On the way, there also was the statue of Christopher Columbus who left this port in 1492. At 3:30 pm, all students drove back to Manresa by bus.
It was a beautiful day in Barcelona.

On Wednesday, we went hiking on the mountain called Montserrat. We had a great view from the top. The hiking was hard but it was good for our physical and mental health. Later, we went to the monastery called Santa Maria de Montserrat. We were at a fair there. After that, all had some free time for doing what they like. A small shop was close to us. After these experiences, we all went back to the bus. All were very tired after this day but very happy, too.

On Thursday, we all gave presentations about different healthy snacks because we all wanted to inspire everyone to eat more healthy food. We got to know what the others eat at school in their countries. It was very interesting to get to know about new food. We also ate a traditional cake from Spain! So yummy!!
After that, we went to the city Stiges where you can go to the beach. But first, we went to a market where you can buy clothes and food. A lot of students bought something that will be a memory for them. Next, we went to the beach where we could go swimming. Some students played beach volleyball. It was fun and we all laughed together. After two hours, we got together in groups with our hosts and went eating in a restaurant. This day was really successful.

On Friday, a lot of students woke up feeling sad because we all knew that this was the last day of our Mobility in Spain! We had a workshop in a building that used to be a monastry. We got into two groups: One group did the cooking workshop and the other group played our Erasmus+ board game that we created together online and at our last Mobilities. The international students from Türkiye printed it recently. In the cooking workshop, we first got to know the traditional food of Spain and two women introduced us to the workshop. Then, we made flat bread, pizza sauce and hot chocolate. After cooking these things, we were allowed to taste them. But some students couldn’t drink the hot chocolate because it had nuts in it. Then, we went to the room where we played the Erasmus+ board game. We had to answer some quiz questions that are about European countries. It is a great game where all students had a lot of fun playing it. At the end of the day, everyone was sad and said goodbye to all their friends.

On Saturday, the host families kindly took the guests to the bus station where we all had to say both goodbye and thanks that we had such a great time together. Some students think that socializing was the best thing about the whole week. Just to get to know people from all over the EU with the help of Erasmus+. And for sure, everyone of Oms i de Prat was great. Everything was a fantastic experience which will never be forgotten. It was fun seeing the differences between our lives.
After these fantastic experiences, we are looking forward to meet each other again in Lithuania in May 2023.
Adiós! Goodbye!
